This year is a jubilee year for two Tchaikovskys. In May the world celebrated the 180th anniversary of the birth of Pyotr Ilyich, and today marks the 95th anniversary of the birth of his namesake - composer, pianist and teacher Boris Alexandrovich Tchaikovsky. He was an outstanding symphonist worthy of his great surname. Olga Sirota dedicates her broadcast to the anniversary of the master.
