Yesterday at 7pm

Like
This Friday, the ERSO will give the conductors a free evening and will perform in Estonia Concert Hall in various ensembles, chamber orchestra and in full capacity. The program includes works by Tamberg, Pärt, Sumera, Kõrvits and Tormis.

While earlier seasons have featured brass and string players at chamber concerts, percussion players can now step into the limelight. Madis Metsamart, the percussionist of the ERSO percussion group, shares with colleagues that Estonian composers have been keen on exploring the diverse and interesting world of percussion.

In addition to the small bands performing in the first half of the concert, Lepo Sumera's "Musica profana" and Tõnu Kõrvits's "La Folia" will be performed by the ERSO Chamber Orchestra and the orchestra in its full glory will be performed by Veljo Tormis. The soloist of "La Folia" is Guido Gualandi, the accompanist of the ERSO oboe group.
